Teacher of the Month: Mrs. Brianna Gilbert. 🎇 Mrs. Gilbert is an exceptional team lead for 3rd grade. She consistently goes above and beyond for her students and team, showing patience and kindness in all interactions. She is admired for her intentional instructional decisions, always looking for new ways to support student success. Mrs. Gilbert's dedication as a teacher and coworker shines through in her caring and supportive approach towards everyone at LPE.
Staff Member of the Month: Mrs. Misty Ford. ✨ Mrs. Ford is committed and dedicated to LPE. She consistently goes above and beyond to assist anyone in need. Mrs. Ford's creativity shines through in helping teachers engage students, actively contributing to the PBIS committee with innovative incentives. Her loyalty, passion, and willingness to help wherever needed make her a valued and inspiring member of the team at LPE.

Ms. Weldon’s 4th grade social studies class played a game of “trashketball” (trash can basketball) to review for their upcoming civil war test.

LMS News for Rising 6th Graders:
English Speaking Rising 6th grade Parent Information Session is on Thursday, May 9. Families can attend the 8:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., or 5:00 p.m. sessions. The Spanish-speaking session will be on Thursday, May 16 at 6:00 p.m. Please park in the front for all sessions; someone will guide you to the location.
Don't forget to sign up for the LMS Summer Program if you are interested in joining. The deadline to sign up is May 17.
