✍️The teachers, administrators, and staff at LMS have been encouraging students all year long to perform their best on the Georgia Milestones Assessments in April. We would like students to know that their family members are encouraging them as well! ✍️
Please take a few minutes to write a letter of encouragement to your child. These letters will be printed and distributed to students as they embark upon the testing session.
As always, we cannot do what we do here at LMS without the support of families at home.

On Tuesday April 15, students, faculty, and staff at Lowndes Middle School will observe “Purple Up! For Military Kids” by wearing purple. Purple symbolizes all branches of the military, a combination of Army Green, Air Force Blue, Coast Guard Blue, Marine Red, and Navy Blue.
Mr. Meeks’ 8th grade scientists were charged up this week as they explored electromagnetism in action! Students created their own working electromagnets during a hands-on lab, sparking curiosity and building real-world connections to science. #OneLowndes
