There is a community pickup option for anyone who may not have a child enrolled at the school but would like one of these beautiful Hahira shirts. HES will announce a date for pick up once items have arrived! If you are a parent who would like to purchase a surprise gift for your child, you may also select this option.

Tuesday, September 17th will be for PreK-2nd grade and Thursday, September 19th will be for 3rd-5th grades. Each night will be a 45-minute session in your student's classroom to learn about the curriculum, parent/teacher communication, and ways to help your child have a successful year. At the end of the event, the gym will have representatives from the PTO, school nurse, and Infinite Campus to answer any questions you may have.
We will also have a FREE grab-n-go grilled hot dog supper available! Thank you to Independent Retirement Professionals for sponsoring this event!
Day one of our Book Fair was a success! Tomorrow night is Family Night! The Book Fair will be open until 6 pm on Tuesday so that families can shop together.

Sora Sweet Reads is now live on Sora! 🍭
This year’s selection contains more than 100 age-appropriate ebooks and select audiobooks for students across all grade levels. These titles are all available for free now through August 26.
HES students have access to Sora through their Clever account. All titles are displayed on Sora in a special Sweet Reads curation in the Explore tab!
Celebrating #PurpleUp for military kids! 💜
Hahira Elementary School welcomed military students and their families yesterday morning for a special celebration. After enjoying breakfast, families were invited to place a pin on a map in the front of the school showcasing everywhere the military has taken them. Everyone was excited to see the unique places their classmates have lived before calling Moody and Lowndes County Schools home! 📍 🗺️ 💜
